Artist interview: Nakiska J
1. Where are you from?
Augusta Ga
2. How did you start making music for Christ?
I grew up in the church. My uncle heard me singing in the car when I was 5 and my mother started my brothers and I singing in church. I did not start writing my own Christ base music until 2009 when I began to take my calling more serious.
3. Do you think it is important to monitor the music out youth listens to?
I believe it is very important to monitor the music they listen to just as we as adults should do the same. You become what you are putting into you. Music acts on the mental state so if the music they are exposing their minds to is negative, then it will reflect in their demeanor. Music also has spiritual effects so it should be monitored.
4.What is your favorite scripture?
I can do all things through who Christ who strengthens me
5. What is grace to you? Grace is God's gift to us. It is our fire insurance through the acceptance of Christ Jesus. With grace we are forgiven of our sins if asked. With grace we are allowed another chance to live life. But we all have a measure of grace according to our faith.
Any shout outs?
I would like to give shout out to my daughter Charity and everyone that have been fully supporting me.

Christian Artist Interview: Calandra Gantt
1.
Where are you from? Atlanta, Ga
2.
How did you start making music for Christ? I began singing at the age of 3 but began singing at different churches across the state as early as 6 years old. My grandfather would play for me when I first started out and the rest is history.3.
I definitely believe it is important, as a youth leader and mentor I tell them they have to be very careful of what they allow in their spirit. Especially being babes in Christ and not being mature enough to know how to fight effectively against temptations.
4.
What is your favorite scripture? 2 Peter 2:9
5.
what is grace to you? Grace is God's unconditional love for me even when I fall short, undeserved favor on my life
6.Any shoutouts? Shout out to my one nation family

Christian Artist Interview: Tammie B
How did you start making music for
Christ?
I started out writing poetry and
listening to a lot of different music at a young age. I kept to myself and
expressed different things I experienced. I started to write inspirational songs
and making my own music at age 17. It’s been 12 years since I really decided I
wanted to do Christian rap, it’s been up and down moments but God has been
leading me for the past year with the words and message that he truly wants to
use me to share.
Do you think it is important to
monitor the music our youth listens to?
It’s so important to monitor the
music our youth listen to because just like the influence music has on adults;
it has a stronger grip on the youth. Different music carries different spirits
and draws youth to imitate what they hear and see which can cause such negative
consequences. A lot of the music out today doesn’t have a sincere positive
message to lead the youth down a path of success.
What is your favorite scripture?
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in
perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
There are so many scriptures that
come to mind but God has been currently teaching me some things in this and is
still working in me. I know the devil and different things come as distractions
to take my mind off what’s important and the things God is trying get me to
focus on. The mind is a battlefield so it’s a crucial thing to keep our minds
stayed on God to have the peace and sound mind to resist the devil and walk in
our freedom.
What is grace to you?
Grace to me is the love that God
shows us each and every day even when he knows the wrongs that we will commit
before we do them. The unconditional love he gives by sacrificing his son for
our transgressions. He provides strength, deliverance, healing, and restoration
because of his mercy and grace
Any shout outs?
I would like to first give thanks
and praise to God for many blessings and being a keeper. A special shout out to
my family, my spiritual leaders Apostle James and Cheryl Roberts and family
from New Beginning Ministries Inc.
Thanks to my One Nation Under God family, Bryan and Camia Erby for their
dedication. Thank you to everyone for the love and support. Much love and
blessings to all!

KEASHA BEARD
How did you start making music for Christ?
I’ve been writing poetry my whole life. I have an intense infatuation with words to the point that I read the dictionary and thesaurus on a constant basis. I’ve always day-dreamed of being involved with music because I am such a fan of music, but I never thought I was “good enough” to be a performer. When I finally decided to surrender my life to Christ and “die to self” in 2015, everything in my life started to fall into place. I began to understand who I was and what I was created for. I began to understand how God could use me for his glory. I had been on a 3 year writing block and finally, words began to flow through me. I was writing poem after poem for like 2 months. One evening, I was writing in my living room and the Holy Spirit directed me to rap the poem I was writing. Honestly, I thought it was outlandish because I had never pursued rap before. However, I tried it and it was terrible! I couldn’t quite find the beat and I sounded like a robot. I kept working on it every night and I began to get better.
I finished my first song “Undercover Liars” and after positive feedback that I got back from friends, I knew that I needed to keep pursuing it. I prayed for guidance, sought the bible every day, and it was insane how the doors began opening and lines began to cross. Going through this process I knew this was divine intervention. I began recording my first album in February 2016 and its been on ever since.
The learning process, the trials, and the flights have been such an amazing experience.
Do you think it is important to monitor the music our youth listens to?
I think its important to monitor music for all ages. Children listen to music that their parents and/or guardians allow. Music is a form of worship and worship is a lifestyle. Music is a strong influence that impacts our hearts, minds, attitudes, and spirit. We listen to music when we’re sad, happy, excited, angry, in celebration – its even used in commercials. Music is often impossible to escape. Therefore with something that impactful and that prominent, it seems thoughtless to not monitor what is being taken into our subconscious and our spirit. With all of that being said… since its an act of worship, I think its important to understand who and what we’re worshipping when we listen, sing, and dance to music. And we definitely have a responsibility to our children, making sure their minds and spirits aren’t compromised.
What is your favorite scripture?
My life verse is Matthew 6:33
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you”
In May 2015, I made up in my mind that God and his kingdom will be first in my life. I seek God in every single aspect of my life before I make a decision or act. I will worship him and him alone. He will be the alpha and omega to my world. And since I made that decision life is better. So much better.
What is grace to you?
Jesus is the definition of “grace.” Everything I am, everything I have is because of him. I don’t deserve any of this and he still blesses me with life. That’s grace.
Any shotouts?
First and foremost, I thank God and pray he gets all the glory for this! Shotout to my family and friends for supporting me and believing in the work God is doing in me. Shotout to Moshae Beats for all the work we’ve put in. Shotout to my church family(Integrity Life Church) for giving me lots of encouragement and their prayers. Shotout to my fans who love my music and support the mission. All of you are so dope!
the struggle
whats good its ya girl legacy bailey and i just wanted to talk about the struggle of keeping yourself straight and encouraged. the real struggle is making sure i read the Bible daily, making sure i don't fret or stress. when i do read the bible i dont stress as much but as soon as i go a day or two without my word i began to fall victim to my flesh. Praying daily for me is easy i wake up out of my sleep thanking God something i never experienced before i was saved. i think about the lord all day but my life has seemed to be at a stand still because i literally dont know what to do next. I started this blog and it really helps me keep on track but with only about 200 views a day i dont feel like im making an impact enough. But God Is good and i will trust in him regardless of my flesh.
Who feels me?

Christian Artist Interview: Torrence Jordan
How did you start making music for Christ?
I was told by my family that at a young age I would always rap with songs i heard on the radio (of course not christian songs lol) and said that I was going to be a rapper. I been saved all my life but everybody else was rapping those "secular songs" and that's all I heard, so I wanted to fit in lol. I always loved music from a young age and was always interested in how they would rap plus how beats were put together. It was in 2007 that I started to mess around with my uncles keyboard trying to make beats and when I began to get the hang of it around 2008, I wanted to sell them but then i got the suggestion that I should rap on them. So that's what I began to do and then I really began to realize and pay attention to the lyrics of music being put out wasn't building up but was a bunch of poison being heard. The "secular music" is pushed so hard that even those that are saved are bombarded with the music and gravitate to it. I realized it's bigger than just rap but lives are at stake, I said to myself "I must have a message to inspire in my music".
MON 6:40PM
Also to add to the first question: When i began to do music doing music for Christ was a no brainer. I knew how it changed my life giving me hope, peace, joy, love, etc. and that's what I want to spread to each life that hears my music.
Do you think it is important to monitor the music out youth listens to?
It's very IMPORTANT for parents to monitor the music that these youth are hearing these days as much as possible because music is so influential. It's even important for any saved person to be careful and monitor the music we listen because through our ear gate is another way different spirits can come in so we have to be careful. When they hear filthy music being pushed in their ears over and over from every direction it possible can get to them because that's the plan of the enemy, it's taking over the minds and has the youth thinking in a way that's crazy and then they go out and began to act out what they continue to hear. On my new project called "Resurface" which will be out soon, I have a song called "Music Is Power" and I talk about this very thing.
What is your favorite scripture?
It's hard to pick one favorite scripture because I have many but I will say Proverbs 3: 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to Him,
and he will make your paths straight. I choose this one because i find myself at times trying to rely on my own understanding and trusting in what I may know or see. So this scripture keeps me reminded to walk by faith and not sight, Father God knows all and sees all. I find as I continue to trust in the Lord he NEVER fails me!
What is grace to you?
Grace to me is Jesus Christ! When God could've just let the enemy destroy us but Jesus continues to intercede for us. He continues to give us another chance after chance for us to live the way pleases Him because 2 Peter 3:9b Amplified Bible (AMP)
9b but the Lord is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
Also, when i think about His grace, it reminds me that I didn't earn His grace but it was freely given and i'm not going to take it for granted. He continues to even allow us to enjoy His blessings everyday! I thank Father God(the True and Living) for His grace and mercy each day!
ANY SHOUT OUTS
My shoutouts: I give Father God all the praise and honor first, because He made this all possible! I thank my mom, grandparents, my fam, my church fam (Life More Abundantly Ministries, Inc. here in virginia beach, va) and to all who supports the music God gives me, I thank Father God for all of you and I don't take you and your support for granted! I just want to say THANK YOU!
I also want to note that music is not the only problem with society and the youth but plays one of the major influential roles in inclining and declining.

CAM LESSON -Every man hath received the gift.
1 Peter 4: 8-10, 12-13, 19
8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging.
10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
Acts 2: 37-39
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Ref. Holy Ghost:
Psalms 51: 9-11
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
John 15: 26-27
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
The Comforter – the Spirit of Truth:
John 4: 24
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
I AM the Truth.
John 14: 6-7, 26
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Shall receive Power:
Acts 1: 8
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
“You have received the Gift”:
Mark 16: 16-18
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Eternal Life through Jesus Christ:
Romans 6: 23
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Salvation – it is the Gift of God:
Ephesians 2: 8
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Who was once enlightened:
Hebrews 6: 4
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
Gift from above, “Father of Lights”:
James 1: 17
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
5 Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven:
Acts 2: 37-39
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Romans 6: 3-5
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Galatians 3: 26-29
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Acts 1: 8
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Mark 16: 16-18
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Ver'Na "All for your Glory"
How did you start making music for Christ?
I've been singing since I was three and I would always walk around and make up my own tunes to songs I started actually writing music when I was in high school but I flipped to the Christian side about 3 years ago....I got tired of running the streets and felt like it was time to fully commit myself to God and allow him to use me for his glory!!!!
Do you think it is important to monitor the music out youth listens to?
I definitely feel that it is extremely important because music is influential and there are so many songs out there that are not really positive and don't really inspire our youth.... our youth is our future and music is a great way to minister to them....especially when it's positive and inspirational
What is your favorite scripture?
My favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"
A lot of times I have been discouraged in a lot of my endeavors and I had to truly realize I can do nothing in myself but I can do great things through Christ because he is my strength and he has given me everything that I need to prosper as long as I keep him as the center of my life
What is grace to you?
Grace to me is Gods Favor that he bestows upon
Our lives and how he grants us the strength and the means to do the things we desire.....the chances that he gives us to make our wrongs right and his undeniable love that he shows to us daily by allowing us to be free through salvation and deliverance.
Any shout outs?
I would like to give honor to God who is my everything without him I would be nothing
I would like to shout my managers Bryan and Camia Erby and the One nation under God family

Scripture of the day
Matthew 9:13
But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Christian artist Interview: Qflo
How did you start making christian rap?I started making Christian rap after i first listened to Lecrae's "Real Talk" album. I grew up in a great church
Where they would always encourage me to find and use the gift God gave me.
whats your favorite scripture?
My favorite scripture is Psalms 91. I chose that one because it speaks about the protection that God provides. Growing up in Philadelphia, a city that was once declared the "murder capital", i feel as though that scripture reminds me to be bold and strong while proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ
what is grace to you?To me, grace is an undeserved blessing. It's amazing how God will still bless us even though we fall short.
Do you believe in the illuminati? The illuminati?, yeah i do. However, my focus remains on God and the mission he's charged me with. I know the illuminati has a strong influence in the manistream music. However, I believe that God has a bigger influence.
any shout outs?
Firstly Shout out to the most high, the almighty, Jesus Christ, because without him NONE of this would be possible
Shout outs to my best friend, my brother and group member Andrae'.
Shout out to my loving and supportive girlfriend Rikki.
Shout outs to my Music mentors, without their guidance and prayers i wouldnt be the artist i am today Cephas, Doc Hero, Deuce B, Atiba Halisi, Drew Smith, and Shawn Prez.
