CHRISTIAN ARTIST INTERVIEW: "PABLO PICASO"

How did you start making Christian rap?
I started making Christian rap a couple years ago after being involved in my church more and spending more time reading and studying the Word of God. I was making secular rap at the time and felt the conviction in my spirit because my music didn't match my life.

What does grace mean to you?
Grace is a blessing that we don't deserve and can't earn but because of the love God has for us he gives it to us.

Where are you from?
I'm born and raised in Yonkers New York.

Who are your biggest influences?
Spreading the Gospel and sharing my testimony with hopes of helping to bring others to Christ is what drives me. The biggest musical influence on me is Lecrae. He was the first Christian rapper I listened to. His music showed me that I can use this gift from God to Glorify God without changing how I do it but only changing the message.

What is your favorite scripture and why?
My favorite scripture is: John 15: 5-10 "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love." We can't try to grow apples if the vine wants us to grow grapes. That disobedience will not bring us any fruit and we will lose all the power he has given us and we will fall from his grace. We must live our life according to what God has for us and the direction he is moving us in and in doing that we will see blessings and be blessings.

DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE ILLUMINATI?
I do believe that the illuminati exists, I know a few artists who have seen things and been places where it was evident. I even had a possible encounter myself when I was doing worldly music.

SHOUTOUTS
I want to shout out my wife Mirlande, my sons (Christian, Zion, Harrison and David), my Archbishop Leon Harris, my Pastor Ruth Harris, my Pastor Lynette Harris and my church Christian Love Tabernacle in Yonkers New York.
